Karama students attend a one hour music lesson every week with the school’s specialist music teacher. Students enjoy a music program including singing, drumming and playing a variety of un-tuned instruments and ukuleles.
The Northern Territory Music School visit our school once a week to teach interested students a wide variety of musical instruments some of which include saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, flute, guitar, and drums. The vision of the NT Music School is that ‘Everyone Can Play’, a belief that a high-quality arts education from an early age has broad lifelong benefits for all children.
